Leadership Team
As the Founder and CEO of Vaerifi, Alex leads a team that provides CFO-level strategy, advanced financial reporting, and integrated bookkeeping to fast-growing firms. Alex is a key strategic partner, ensuring financial operations run with precision and discipline while helping guide critical business decisions with clarity and insight.
Prior to launching Vaerifi, Alex spent over 15 years in global finance roles at Bank of America, Credit Suisse, and private capital platforms across New York and Singapore. His background includes structuring complex debt solutions and advising management teams at companies ranging from early-stage ventures to publicly traded enterprises.
Alex earned his MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and is a CFA charterholder.
He resides in Dallas, Texas, with his loving wife and beautiful daughter. He enjoys staying active, traveling, and exploring the great outdoors.

Alex Roe, CFA, MBA
As Director of Accounting at Vaerifi, Nick oversees the firm's accounting quality standards across its portfolio of clients and leads the firm's accounting team. He also steps in directly as a fractional controller on engagements that demand deeper technical and operational complexity.
Nick began his career at JPMorgan Chase, working in financial reporting and controls for the Corporate & Investment Bank. He went on to lead accounting and financial control at a publicly traded cross-border firm and at a high-growth private company, directing multi-entity accounting across North America, Europe, and Asia under U.S. GAAP and SOX, rebuilding finance operations after acquisitions, and improving month-end closes.
Nick holds a Master of Accounting and dual bachelor's degrees in accounting and finance from the University of Delaware, and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in North Carolina and Texas. Nick was a four-year varsity letterman and four-time NCAA Academic Achievement Award winner as a collegiate thrower. He stays active outside of work and lives in Raleigh, North Carolina.
